My name is Mia. In my free time, I like to flip through art books and try new techniques in digital illustration right now, I’m particularly drawn to a dark, atmospheric aesthetic. I also love long walks in the rain: at such moments, it’s as if the whole city becomes quieter, and stories start forming in my head on their own. And computer games sometimes come in handy when I just want to disconnect from the routine and briefly escape into another reality, but that’s more of a way to recharge, not my main hobby.

I love watching how the city changes: in the morning it wakes up, in the afternoon it’s bustling, and in the evening it becomes cozy. I enjoy long walks without a set route  in them, thoughts sort themselves out. And I also rejoice in the little things: a ray of sunshine breaking through the clouds, a random phrase from a book, a warm blanket on a cool day. There’s a quiet magic in that. Sometimes I just stop and listen to the city breathing  there are so many stories in those sounds.

I dream of traveling through small towns along old railways — there, time seems to stand still, and the air smells of dust and fresh baked goods. I want to put together a photo album of inconspicuous details: peeling paint, a forgotten bench, a whimsical shadow, so that a quiet story lives in it. I also dream of writing a story in which a city comes to life, with its own character and secrets, but about ordinary, warm moments: a cup of tea by the window, a chance conversation at a bus stop. And also, to find my own place: cozy, quiet, with a bookshelf and a view of the rain. So that it would be quiet there and you could hear yourself.

My hobbies are tattoos and computer games. For me, tattoos are not just drawings, but a whole story: I love studying sketches, analyzing styles, and learning what meaning people put into their body art. And games are my way to immerse myself in another world for a while and just relax after a busy day.
